For six generations and for more than 150 years it has been producing artisanal chocolate. It also passes on traditional Modica and Sicilian sweets and nougats, mostly of Arab or Spanish origin. In 2008 it was included by Eurispes among the 100 excellences of Italy . Even today, the Antica Dolceria is present in Modica, right where among the baroque wonders, in 1880, Francesco Bonajuto, following in the footsteps of his father Federico, decided to open his small confectionery shop.
